Chapter 15 --(Summer) Rated R
As soon as I closed the door, I could hear the detective start to cough as if she were choking.
“Uhm…can I get you something to drink, detective…?” I asked wanting her to tell me her name again.
She continued to cough and finally managed to respond as she placed her hand over her chest, “Detective Mandy Cyrus…from the Los Angeles police department…and no…I think I will be fine. Ms. Lovato, it appears that you have been doing a lot of cleaning. The peroxide and bleach scent is very strong.” She said as if trying to breathe searching for fresh air.
I laughed nervously. I took off my other yellow rubber glove and responded nervously looking around to make sure no blood was to be seen.
“Yeah…I uh…made a mess and just had to clean up. Im a clean freak I guess.” I laughed nervously again.
I then walked toward the patio, and opened the screen patio door to allow the air from outside to circulate inside my apartment.
The detective smiled at me as she continued to look at me, with a suspicious eye, up and down. “I see. What kind of mess? You looked like you were working hard to clean it up.”
I nervously wiped the sweat from my forehead and gave a slight chuckle. “Oh…yeah…I got sick and just threw up all over the place.”
The detective continued to stare at me making me even more nervous. It was like she knew I was giving her a bullshit story. I quickly changed the subject.
“So what can I do for you Detective?”
She coughed again, and responded, “Mind if we step out onto your patio? The smell is a little stifling.”
I nodded in agreement.
We stepped outside looking over the balcony. The view of the city of New York was absolutely breathtaking as the sun began to set. One of the reasons I really loved this apartment.
The detective seem to approve of the view as well when I heard her say, “Ahh the city that never sleeps…New York. Beautiful.”
I smiled in response waiting for her to get to the point as to why she was here.
“Do you go out into the nightlife here, Ms. Lovato?” she asked.
“Please, call me Summer.” I corrected her.
“Im sorry…Summer.” she responded correctly.
“Uhm…no not really.”
“Hmm…” she hesitated. She then looked me in the eyes. “So…you never go out to any nightclubs or pubs or anything like that?”
“No.” I answered.
“Are you sure about that?”
I hesitated as she continued to look at me suspiciously. I knew I had to choose my words wisely. “Are you trying to accuse me of something, detective?” I asked nervously.
“Accuse you? No. I just want to give you an opportunity to come clean…that’s all.” She then gave me what I felt like was a fake smile.
“Come clean about what?” I asked now getting slightly upset.
I watched her pull out a folded piece of paper that was an 8x11 size from inside her jacket pocket. “Do you know, a David Henrie?”
I frowned at her. “No.” I responded confidently.
She continued to unfold the piece of paper she had pulled out from her jacket. “Hmmm…” she said puzzled as she looked down at the piece of paper in her hands. She then turned it toward me so I could see what she was looking at. She continued, “It sure looks like you knew him.”
I took the piece of paper from her hands and stared at a still photo of a video surveillance capture. There were two photos in black and white. It was a photo of a female walking into a Pub bar facing the camera; and the other photo was of what appeared to be the same female with her back turned toward the camera talking to a man at the bar. After staring at the still photos printed on the piece of paper for a minute or so, everything started to come into the light. I recognized the man in the photos. It was the same man I saw on the morning news before my first day of class. David Henrie: married man with kids, who was a real estate agent. His body was found in an alley behind a Pub. I also recognized the female in the photo. It wasn’t me. It was Autumn.
I quickly looked up at the detective and handed her the piece of paper back to her. “That’s not me.” I said calmly.
“Did you get a good look at it?” the detective attempted to hand me the piece of paper again. “I would say that’s a dead ringer of you.” She continue to stare at me trying to intimidate me.
I had to admit…it was working. I was definitely intimidated by her. Autumn had done it again. She was screwing up my life.
“I suddenly feel like I shouldn’t say anything else without a lawyer present.” I said walking back toward the patio to go inside my apartment. I was ready for the detective to leave.
The detective smiled and proceeded to fold the piece of paper back and place it inside her jacket. “Fair enough.” She followed me back inside the apartment. I escorted her to the front door and opened it so she could leave. “Just one last question.” She said as she slowly turned around to face me. “You just moved here from L.A., right?”
“You’re the police…you can figure that kind of stuff out, right?” I said challenging her.
She smirked at me allowing a small chuckle to escape her lips. “I’ll be in touch, Summer. Don’t try to go too far.” Detective Mandy Cyrus smiled sarcastically and walked away from my door down the hall to leave.
I closed my door and breathed a sigh of relief.
I pushed myself off from the door and looked up to see Autumn coming from around the corner. She startled me, forcing me to gasp at her presence. “When did you get in here?”
“I saw you two standing out on the patio when I came in…so I snuck into the bedroom.” Autumn said glaring at me.
I glared back at her in anger. “You’re up to your antics again, Autumn. The police is on to you this time. You’re going to get caught!”
Autumn allowed a smile to slowly spread across her lips. “You mean, you’re going to get caught.”
I rushed passed her to get our luggage from out of the closet. I marched into the bedroom slamming the luggage on top of my bed. Autumn followed me and watched as I quickly moved about.
“What are you doing?” she asked in a panic tone.
“We’re leaving.” I said rushing into the closet and grabbing as many clothing as I could fit into my arms. “Leaving? We can’t leave!”
“Yes we can!”
“No, we can’t!”
“Then dammit, Autumn, you stay here! I can’t do this anymore! This has to stop! You’re ruining everything for me! I can’t take this anymore!” I shouted out in a rage of frustration.
“You can’t take this? Im the one who can’t take this! I can’t take being bottled up and not having my freedom!”
“Look what happens when you do, Autumn! You’re crazy!!” I shouted and collapsed on my bed burying my face in my hands as I started to cry hysterically.
I then heard Autumn’s voice calmly state, “Summer…if Im crazy…you’re crazy. We are one…remember. Always will be…always have been. We can’t leave now. What about Joe?”
I silently stopped crying and raised my head slowly, listening to Autumn’s words whirl inside of my head. What about Joe. I love him. I can’t leave him. I want him with me. If we leave…he has to come with me. He has to. I felt Autumn sit next to me without looking at her.
“You can’t leave Joe, Summer.” She said in a comforting tone.
“I know Joe loves me. If I were to tell him we were leaving tomorrow…I think he would come with me. But, Autumn, we can’t stay here. You have never been this close to being caught. Never.”
I heard Autumn sigh out of frustration. “Fine.” She stood up from the bed. She then smiled in a conniving way. “Let’s go back to Seattle. That should be fun…right?”

(Autumn)
Autumn Lovato & Nick Mathison
I could hear Summer’s phone ringing off the hook. It was Joe. He had been blowing her phone up all evening. Well I was about to go make him feel better. I can’t allow the possible last night here in New York to go without having fun. Of course, I made sure Summer drunk her wine and passed out in bed before getting ready to have my fun out on the night. I’ll behave…I think.
I gave myself one last look in the mirror and fluffed my hair around my shoulders. I blew myself a kiss, adjusted my eyeglass frames, and I was out the door.
Once I locked the door…I realized I hadn’t seen Nick. I can’t let this be my last night in New York without ever fucking him. Should I wait until I come from seeing Joe, or go now? I decided to wail later to see Nick. I’ve been dying to meet Joe.
I proceeded to make my way to the elevators. As the elevator doors opened, there stood my neighbor, Nick. Looking ever so handsome. He wore a brown shirt and blue jeans. “Well, hello there handsome. I was just thinking about you.” I smiled waiting for him to walk up close to me and wrap his arms around me.
He looked as if he didn’t want to speak to me.
He almost walked past me until I moved in front of him with a confused expression. “Are you not going to speak to me?”
“I don’t know if I should even look at you after that stunt you pulled on me yesterday.”
I frowned in confusion. “What are you talking about, baby?” I said wrapping my arms around his torso.
He politely pried my arms away from him and proceeded to walk away from me. “Summer, you know exactly what Im talking about.”
I suddenly became enraged.
What happened between him and Summer?
“Did you fuck her?”
Nick stopped and turned around to face me. “Fuck who?” he said with a confused expression.
I quickly corrected myself. “Me…are u fucking me over or something?”
He continued to look at me confused. “What?”
“What? What are you talking about?” I asked wanting him to volunteer information on whatever happened between he and Summer.
“Uhmm..ok..you lost me. Im so confused right now.”
I walked up closely to him. “So am I. I thought we really had something going. I thought we could continue having sex…or…” I said flirtatiously trying to figure out if he had already had sex with Summer.
“We never had sex…what are you talking about, Summer?"
I smiled realizing he never had sex with Summer. Good.
I ran my fingers thru his short curly locks. “Then what are we waiting for?” I then pulled him into me and kissed him passionately.
It was obvious to me that he was caught by surprise. However, I know he began to enjoy me kissing him when I felt him deepen the kiss. I started to feel his hands affectionately grab at my waist and push me against the wall. He then suddenly pulled away saying breathlessly, “Wait…where’s your little boyfriend?”
It dawned on me that he must have ran into Summer and Joe. I smirked at the thought.
“What boyfriend? I don’t have a boyfriend. ” I then kissed him once again.
Between our kisses, I managed to whisper to him, “I can’t stop thinking about you. I want you so bad.”
Within the next moment, the elevator doors opened to the sound of a dinging noise. I could hear an older woman clear her throat as she exited off the elevator. Nick slowly pulled away slightly embarrassed being caught by the woman. I on the other hand, didn’t care.
“Enjoying the show old lady?” I sneered.
Nick snapped his head back at me in shock by my remark.
The old woman scoffed and walked down the hall.
I giggled as Nick chuckled lightly.
“Geez…what has gotten into you?” Nick asked gazing into my eyes.
I smiled up at him speaking in my sexy voice. “Im trying to get you into me…but we keep getting interrupted.”
Nick smiled. “You are so bad. But there's something about you that I just can't resist and I love it. Let’s go to your place.”
“No. Let’s go to yours.”
Nick picked me up bridal style, carrying me down the hall to his apartment.
Once again…Joe would have to wait. Right now, Nick had me very hot and bothered. There was no way I was going to leave this city without having a chance to see how he could make me feel sexually. It was clear that was all he wanted from me anyway…and that’s what he was going to get.
As soon as we entered into his apartment, he carried me to his sofa. As he sat me down he hovered over me, kissing me. He then started to pull away. “Can I get you something to drink?”
“No. I just want you.” I said pulling on his shirt for him to come back to me.
Our lips were attached once again as I started to take off my white blouse fully exposing my black bra.
“Whoa, whoa. Slow down. Why the rush?” Nick asked once I forced him down onto the sofa next to me. “What are you waiting for?” I asked impatiently as I stripped him of his shirt off over his head.
I was enticed by his smooth muscular chest. I attacked his lips as I began to unbuckle his jeans and tug at them.
Nick slightly pushed me away from him. “Hey…slow down.”
I looked at him confused and a little angry. “What’s your problem? Don’t you want me?”
“I do..but Im just slightly confused.”
“About what?” I asked softly as I began to nibble on his earlobe.
“One minute you want nothing to do with me, then the next minute you can’t keep your hands off of me. You’re like day and night…..literally.” Nick added.
I stopped kissing him and stood up from the sofa. “Look…I can just leave. It’s not a problem.”
I then grabbed my white blouse about to put it back on to leave. Nick quickly stood up pressing his body next to mine. “No. I don’t want you to leave.” He then grabbed my blouse from my hand throwing it to the floor. “I just want to take things slow. That’s all.” He said holding my face in his hands.
He then tenderly kissed me. As we kissed I took off his jeans lowering them to the ground. I then pushed him down onto his sofa where he was now looking up at me. I slowly began unbuttoning my black shorts that I wore. Giving him a small strip tease.
“Is this slow enough?” I said seductively.
I could see it in his eyes that he was enjoying my little show that I was performing for him. I took off my bra and underwear and straddled over him sitting on his lap. We began to kiss in a heated passion. I could feel his hardness as I grinded over him thru his boxers. I then lowered my hand inside of his boxers, pulling out his erect manhood and inserted him inside of me.
I began to moan loudly when I felt him inside of me. It was everything that I had expected. I could feel Nick’s hands around my hips as he guided my hips up and down his shaft. He leaned his head back in ecstasy. I continued to grind on him as I stretched my arms behind his neck.
“Mmm, Summer.” I could hear him softly moan as I thrusted my hips onto him.
“Autumn.” I whispered with my eyes closed in pleasure feeling him so deep inside of me.
“What?” I heard him say softly.
I slowly opened my eyes and gazed into Nick's lustful brown eyes. “My name is Autumn. Call me Autumn.” I said as I continued to grind on him.
I could see the slightly puzzled look in his eyes as he remained silent. However, his puzzled expression soon turned into a lifeless blank stare back into my eyes.
Poor Nick.
He didn’t know that when I stretched my arms behind his neck, I grabbed one of his specialized long fountain tip pens he had on the small table that sat behind his sofa. It was almost like a long sharp narrow stick. I had grabbed the pen and quickly stabbed it inside his left ear, giving it a hard jagged twist. Blood began to ooze out of his ear trickling down the side of his jaw line. His body jerked violently and then slowly went limp.
I sat there and stared at his lifeless body for a while. He was so handsome, but he was no good. A man only wanting sex, was no good. I leaned forward and stuck my tongue out barely tasting his blood with the tip of my tongue. I then adjusted myself pulling his manhood out of me.
“Poor Nick…not only did you feel good…but you tasted good too. What a waste.”
